This elegant mala, or Tibetan prayer necklace, consists of 108 beads of druzy quartz and moonstone. Druzy quartz is the crystal formation on a quartz, and stands for intuition and love. The lively moonstones represent fertility and feminine wisdom. At the bottom of the mala you find the 109th bead, the so-called ‘mother bead’, which indicates the beginning and end of the chain. The detailed pendant lastly, carries a drawing of the Hindu goddess Lakshmi, who brings happiness, prosperity, health and love. Multiple letters, a name or a date of birth can be engraved on the back of the pendant. This way you can always wear your child(ren) around your neck, close to your heart.
Each necklace is handcrafted with expertise. Fair trade & eco-friendly.
Length mala without pendant: 70 cm | Pendant dimensions: 28 mm x 14 mm | Length pendant plus extra beads: 4.3 cm.
Part of the proceeds of this necklace will be used to donate a ‘newborn-box’ to a mommy and baby in a developing country. This box is full of things that will give mother and child a safe chance during and after childbirth. A few weeks after your purchase you will receive a photo and the story of the duo who received this box partly thanks to your unique necklace.
